Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Leland Dentistry & Implants wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website and to get the information and care it offers.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Accessibility is ongoing work for us, and we review the site as it changes.
What we have done
- Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA and JAWS can find their way around them.
- The site is designed to be used with a keyboard alone, and every page starts with a “Skip to main content” link.
- Text and buttons are designed for clear color contrast, images carry text descriptions, and layouts adapt to any screen size and to zooming in.
- Videos that play on their own are silent and have a pause button, and movement is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- A Listen button on every page reads the page aloud, or any text you point to, using your device's own voice. Nothing you hear is sent anywhere.
Known limitations
Some parts of this site come from other companies and are not fully in our control, such as the map and the waitlist form. If any of them is hard for you to use, contact us and we will help you directly.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox, and with the screen readers built into phones and computers.
